BizTalk Services SDK

Some how in the last couple of weeks I managed to miss the public release of the BizTalk Services SDK, over at http://labs.biztalk.net/.

If you haven’t seen it already, the SDK is a big step forward for companies using BizTalk as a key component in their SOA platform. It’s billed as a sneak preview of the Internet Service Bus initiative. Key features include:

Identity Services – support for WS-Trust providing authentication, access and federated identity.

Connectivity Services – supporting network bridging and relaying, multicast services and globally addressable naming.

And the feature I’m most excited about: BizTalk Workflow Services – a hosted instance of Workflow Foundation.
